15 June 2019 Mahatma Gandhi Peace Council Free Public Lecture

It gives me great pleasure to invite you on behalf of Mahatma Gandhi Peace Council to a Public Lecture on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Room 303 Patterson Hall, Carleton University. The Lecture entitled Jai Jagat will be delivered by Ms. Jill Carr-Harris of Ekta Parishad. Ms Carr-Harris will be speaking about a 10000 km March from New Delhi to Geneva that will take place over the period October 2, 2019 to September 26, 2020. The march will speak to poverty, discrimination, climate and conflict. The central idea is to bring Gandhi’s vision of nonviolence forward to address the larger global issues.
