41st - Commonwealth Interfaith Dialogue

RCS Ottawa

Updated: Aug 28, 2024

"Respecting our Environment" was the topic for our 41st Interfaith Dialogue, the afternoon of March 8 in Ottawa. At the time Ottawa had one case of Covid-19, so we started the event by asking anyone who had a temperature or dry cough to leave (no-one left or coughed).  The 57 people that attended heard religious readings on the environment from 7 different faith leaders; followed by facilitated round table dialogues on what we can do to reduce our environmental impact, as individuals and communities. It was a very energized, engaging, and successful dialogue that we look to build upon going forward.

RCS Ottawa would like to thank our partners and host the Ottawa Bahà'í Community, and in particular David Oke.
